Non-Members
Can I pay as you go?
Yes, you can buy a gym day pass for £8. Please ensure you have registered with us and then simply contact us on either 01442 769071 or healthyugym@gmail.com with when you are interested in coming to HUG to ensure someone is available to let you in alternatively you can book a visiting slot. Please note we are unable to offer a Saturday or Sunday.
Can I do a trial session?
Yes, we do offer trial sessions. Please contact us to arrange a day and time to use the gym alternatively if you would like to try a class please click here to book.
How do I become a member?
To become a member, simply visit our Prices and Plans page for all the details on membership options where you can pick a membership of your choice and sign up and then contact us to book an appointment to collect your welcome pack and fob. Please note we are unable to offer a Saturday or Sunday.
What is the difference between a contract and rolling?
The main difference is the commitment length. A contract membership is for 12 months, while a rolling membership is flexible, but you’ll need to give us one month's notice to cancel.
Can I just pay for a month?
Yes, you can pay for just a month with a monthly cash pass. Please contact us so we can set it up for you.
Why do I pay a joining fee?
The joining fee covers administrative costs, welcome packs, and the fob needed for access.
Can I bring my child with me?
Sorry, children are not allowed.
Do you have a baby area?
We do not have a designated baby area.
Can I just turn up at the gym?
We always welcome new members to the gym we advise you to pre-book an appointment to ensure someone is free and help you with everything you need. you can do this by booking a visiting slot or call us on 01442 769071.
I want to view the gym before I join.

How do I cancel my membership?
Memberships can be cancelled by emailing us on healthyugym@gmail.com please be aware our 12 month contracts cannot be cancelled until all 12 payments have been made.
If I cancel my direct debit, does this stop my membership?
Unfortunately no, you do need to email us to cancel your membership on healthyugym@gmail.com
Can I freeze my account?
Yes we can but we look at everyone's account individually, so please email us on healthyugym@gmail.com to request your freeze. Please be aware if you are on one of our contracted memberships any frozen months will be added onto the end of your membership.
Can I change the date my payments come out each month?
Yes, you can our direct debits are set to the 1st or the 15th of the month, please let us know which date you prefer
